We have been very fortunate to have lots of amazing cast member interactions. We love getting to know cast members and hearing our stories. When we meet a great cast member in the parks, we are sure to get their names and we typically stop by Guest Services to fill out a compliment card. With some of the non-disney owned restaurants in particular, we also typically ask for a manager to provide positive feedback.
On our last Disney Cruise we were truly blown away by the service we had. Our wait staff in the main dining room was amazing. Our servers were so personable and felt like friends by the end of our cruise. Typically, we forget who the head waiter is because we never see them, but this time our head waiter was so personable and fun and involved with each table. The cruise staff was also amazing. My husband and I were chosen as one of the couples for the Match Your Mate game and not only did we feel so well taken care of throughout that, at the rest of the trivia and events the cruise staff remembered us and we were able to spend time just chatting with them. Our stateroom attendant was awesome and even helped with some covert operations (finding the remote) for us! And we felt like we had a personal bartender at Key's because Melroy learned our tastes and had new recommendations and conversations for us each night. We were so impressed by all these wonderful people that I actually wrote a letter (novel) and gave it to guest services on the end of the night!
What were some of the best Cast Member moments you've had and how have you recognized these wonderful cast members who helped make the magic? We are always looking for different ideas to ensure their efforts feel appreciated!
