My family and I enjoyed the Ka Wa'a Lu'au last November in the VIP Seating section and loved it! While it is pricey at $159 for adults and $109 for the keiki (kids 3-9) we felt it was worth it! Included in the price was early check-in, priority up-front seating, complimentary alcoholic beverages and an enhanced welcome lei. The gratuities are included in the price but taxes are not. The servers weren't shy about getting you set with drinks before the show started since they would stop their service to your table at that time however you were free to go over to the bar yourself during the show if you needed. It was nice being able to gain early access, almost like a Fastpass+ to spend time with the various activities before the General Admission folks were allowed in. Another perk was that since this was a dinner served buffet-style, the tables were actually dismissed in order to serve themselves at the buffet. This gave those of us with the VIP Seating the ability to get our food at a more leisurely pace and there wasn't any chaos. The VIP Seating for the show too, was much closer to the stage than the General Admission seating/tables. Even at the buffet for the show, I went and found a chef to ask what foods my son needed to steer clear of because of his nut allergies. The chef took my son and I around to each and every dish to explain what was in them and suggested which items to avoid.
Update: Pricing is currently VIP Seating– $169 Adults/$109 Keiki (ages 3 through 9). There is no charge for keiki under 3.*
General Admission – $129 Adults/$79 Keiki (ages 3 through 9). There is no charge for keiki under 3.**
