If you have been to any of the Disney parks or on a Disney cruise in the past few years you may have noticed a growing trend among park guests. Matching group Disney vacation shirts are becoming more and more popular among guests not only because they are cute but can also add a little bit of extra magic. Many times while wearing our shirts my family and I have had some fun interactions with characters and cast members.
On our last family Disneyland trip we bumped into Peter Pan. He saw our pirates shirts and tried to engage in a sword fight with me and recruit the kiddos to be lost boys instead.
The next day my girls had their Darth Vader "Daddy's Princess" shirts on when they met Tinkerbell. She read their shirts and got all nervous that they were space pirates. My girls got a giggle out of trying to convince her they were not.
It's not a guarantee to have more interaction from the characters but it sure is fun when they do. So where are guests getting their custom shirts? You can either make your own shirt or purchase a shirt from Etsy or I have some DIY tutorials with a free template as well as shirts for sale on my page Of Mouse and Merchandise
